Gloria Borland was raised in Honolulu, and her family still lives in Hawaii. Like Obama, she is mixed-race with a Black father and Japanese mother. Gloria worked for Hawaii's Senator Daniel K. Inouye (D. Hawaii) and then formed her own media company, producing "The Business Owners" TV series that aired nationwide on 150 PBS stations around the country and was sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. Gloria was Independent presidential candidate Ross Perot's Campaign Director in Washington, D.C. in1992, where she managed communications with the Washington press corps. She was part owner of an FCC wireless PCS license for Honolulu and Hilo from 1996-1999. Gloria Borland is currently re-launching a former cable TV channel with international programming on the Web, and developing a documentary on "The History of Women Lawyers in America" for distribution nationwide on PBS.    www.gloriaborland.com

Genie Joseph was formerly a staff producer/director at KITV-4, the ABC affiliate in Honolulu. Her feature films have won various international awards, been distributed by SONY and USA Cable Networks. She is Co-Producer of "Beyond the Break" which has shot two seasons in Makaha, Hawaii for "The N" (Nickelodeon's teen channel). She is Co-Producer for Rigel Entertainment, which recently completed two feature films for the Sci-Fi Channel. She was the Line Producer on several films including TIDES OF WAR, shot entirely in Hawaii, for Pacific Films, a division of Regent Entertainment. TIDES OF WAR premiered as the opening of the 2005 Spring Hawaii International Film Festival at the Hawaii Theater. Genie Joseph also teaches Media and Communication at Chaminade 08University and has taught screenwriting and TV Production at Oleo, Hawaii's Community Television.

Skip Kelly Skip Kelly is a documentary producer and writer for over 20 years with On The Potomac Productions in Washington, DC. His accomplishments include the nationally acclaimed documentaries "MLK: The Making of Holiday" and "James Brown: The Man, The Music & The Message." He also has expertise in media and public relations, promoting his documentaries as well as working for clients in politics and entertainment. He is a graduate of Brown University and previously worked in government and non-profit political organizations.

Natasha Krauss is a videographer and assistant director of the Documentary Center at The George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs. Her documentary film shooting credits include projects for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, CNN, Brave New Films and the Kennedy Center.
